    Guidelines for Foreign Nationals Desiring to Enroll at XU

    1. Present the ff. documents for verification at the Office of University Registrar, Window No. 8:

                            a. Birth Certificate

                            b. Transcript of Records (original); if photocopy, must have original signature & seal with no remarks such as “for reference only, for employment, etc”

                            c. Dep-Ed eligibility for admission to college

                            d. High School diploma (original)

    2. As soon as verified, received from University Registrar Clearance Note to take Entrance Examination.

    3. As soon as you get passing entrance result, proceed to the Director of Admissions for Letter of Acceptance.

    4. You need this letter of acceptance to obtain a Student Visa, Visa 9(f). The ff. are the other types of Visa accepted for enrolment:

                            a. permanent foreign residents;

                            b. alien with valid working permits under section 9(d), 9(g) & 47(a) (2);

                            c. personnel of foreign diplomatic and consular missions residing in the           

        Philippines & their dependents;

    d. personnel of duly accredited international organizations residing in the   

        Philippines & their dependents;

                            e. holders of Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV) & Special Retiree’s

        Resident Visa (SRRV) and

    f. foreign students coming to the Philippines with 47 (a) (2) visas issued   

       pursuant to the existing laws, e.g. PD 2021

    5. With your Student Visa go through the admissions/registration procedures

    Step 1 - Present Clearance Note from University Registrar and the Test Results at the Testing Center to get Application Form for Admission. (Testing Center, CH112)

    Step 2 - Process/ Comply Admission Requirements as follows:

      1. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) (2 clear photocopies)
      2. Student Visa (9f visa)
      3. School Credentials ( Transcript of Records for college students, High School Card for high school graduates who completed grade 11 or 12
      4. Certification from Philippine Department of Education for Eligibility for admission to college
      5. Medical Certificate and Dental Health Record
      6. Birth Certificate

    Step 3 - Submit admission Requirements and Interview with the Director (@ CH 113)

    Step 4 - Pay down payment of tuition & other fees at the Finance Office ( @ Xavier Hall)

    Step 5 - Interview with the College Dean
