Center for IntegratedTechnologies

The Center for Integrated Technologies aims to generate a new breed of technical manpower who possess not only a high degree of technical competence but also superior leadership qualities and an appreciative attitude towards work.

The center also caters to the Corporate and Industrial Sectors to upgrade its manpower to be able to meet its technological requirements. Thus, it spearheads the thrust of the University in helping in the industrialization of Northern Mindanao.

VISION


The Xavier University–Center for Integrated Technologies shall be the leading institution for technical education in Northern Mindanao. It shall be known in the region for producing the best technicians in the field of Industrial and Commercial Technologies.

MISSION

The Center is an institution dedicated to producing top-level technical specialists who are trained in the latest technologies and who possess exemplary work values. The center caters to the technical skills requirement of Northern Mindanao by combining extensive skills development programs and personal values formation through quality Jesuit education. The graduates of XU-CIT are distinguished in the industry as technicians who possess and exhibit a high degree of technical skills, outstanding leadership qualities, strong Christian values, and a profound sense of responsibility to the community and to the environment.

  4. Mechanical Technology (3 years)


The three year post secondary course is offered in a three-term school year. Classes average eight hours a day, five days a week – simulating working schedules in industry. During the first year, a common curriculum is followed. For the second and third year, the students branch out to their respective specialization. Upon the completion of their academic requirements, the students are sent to undergo 5-month On-the-Job Trainings (OJT) to prepare them for their subsequent inclusion to the work force.

  7. Drafting Architectural Lay-outs & Details – 46 hrs
  8. Building Wiring – 360 hrs

SHORT COURSES

  1. CNC Milling- 40 hrs
  2. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  3. Welding: SMAW – 40 hrs
  4. Computer Literacy & MS Office – 30 hrs
  5. Cellphone Repair – 40 hrs
  6. TIG Welding
  7. MIG Welding


We also offer In-house Training for employee training and development. Customized programs may be designed based in the training needs of the organization.
