Scholarship Up for Grabs in Xavier Engage Quiz Show

The Xavier University Festival Days has always been the most anticipated annual event in XU. This year’s festivity seems to live up to the anxious hype with its queue of innovative and multi-disciplinary activities.  This year, XU further shares its jovial spirit by offering promising boys and girls a chance to study in XU on a full scholarship in the Xavier Engage Quiz Show on December 5, 1:30 PM at the XU Gym.
 

Xavier Engage Quiz Show breaks the tradition of an ordinary quiz bee with the radiant prize at stake. It will be participated in by Xavier University Scholarship / Entrance Exam (ATCU) takers among the public high school students of the city. The quiz will tackle challenges on Math, English, and general knowledge, touching on the facts they retained from their high school education. And the grand prize is a full scholarship to any course offered in the university for the school year 2010-2011 – a prize that is undoubtedly something to vie for.
 

“We want for the different public schools to know that Xavier is reaching out to them,” says Engr. Lory Liza Bulay-og, head of the Xavier Engage Quiz Show committee. Needless to say, the quiz show participants will not only get the chance to win a free pass to an Atenean education, but also to experience holistic Ignatian formation towards a bright future.
