After its successful stint in the Visayas last February, GMA’s Kapuso Masterclass Series kicked off its Mindanao leg at the Xavier University Little Theater on March 14.

Awarded for Excellence in Communication and Education by the 18th Philippine Quill Awards, the ‘GMA Masterclass Series’ aims to provide a platform for young people to become part of relevant discussions on local and national issues.

Meanwhile, Oliver Victor Amoroso, first vice president and head of GMA Regional TC and Synergy, emphasized how the Kapuso Masterclass Series is an integral part of the network’s "Dapat Totoo" advocacy.

“The core component of GMA Network's election advocacy campaign, "Dapat Totoo," – Dapat totoo ang hangarin ng mga kandidato na maglingkod sa mamamayan, dapat totoo ang bawat pangako at dapat totoo ang impormasyong binabahagi ng mga botanteng Pilipino,” Amoroso said.

The Kapuso Masterclass Series, which was hosted by GMA host and sportscaster, Martin Javier, was one of the first in-person events with students as participants held in XU after the city was placed under Level 1 community quarantine classification.
