The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Central Office invited the Agribusiness Team (Dr Glenda T Orlanes and Dr Jerelyn B Medalla) of the College of Agriculture, Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan to be resource persons of the training titled "Transcending Benefits of Consolidation: A Training on Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA)" last May 31-June 2, 2023, at Duran Farm, Bulacan, Manila. It aimed at equipping the Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) Managers/Owners with the knowledge and skills required to implement and capitalize on this transformative strategy, the AECA approach.

The training program consisted of a series of interactive sessions, case studies, group activities, and practical exercises, all aimed at facilitating a deep understanding of agro-enterprise clustering approach. Participants were introduced to successful cluster models from different regions, enabling them to learn from real-world experiences and adapt best practices to their own contexts.

The training on Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach provided agro-entrepreneurs with valuable insights into the immense potential of collaborative networks in the agricultural sector. By embracing the clustering approach, farmers and agribusinesses can transcend individual limitations and unlock a range of benefits, including enhanced productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability. With the knowledge and skills gained from the training, participants are now equipped.
