Mechanics
- The President appoints the Screening Committee on a yearly basis.
- E-blast announcement and posting on the website and bulletin boards.
- Submit nominations online. Nomination Form Employee Excellence Awards 2018
- Nominations may come from all members of the Xavier Ateneo community: Trustees, Administrators, Faculties, Formators, and Staff, except from the members of the Screening Committee.
- All nominations will be cleared by HRO which then submits the list of qualified nominees to the Screening Committee.
- The Screening Committee will inform the qualified nominees in writing.
- Deans/Directors/Principals will be asked to submit documents of qualified nominees to the Screening Committee.
- All qualified nominees per category will be evaluated by the Screening Committee based on the criteria developed by the Screening Committee and approved by the University President.
- Awardees will be announced only during the Recognition Ceremony on May 25, 2018.
- Must have at least Excellent rating in the last 3 performance appraisals.
- Must have demonstrated significant contributions to the unit or to the university.
- Must have untarnished employment record.
- Exemplary moral character
- Awardees are automatically disqualified from the same category in future Xavier Ateneo Ignatian Awards.
- Will exclude the President and members of the Screening Committee.
Selection Process for Faculty
- Department Chairs/Subject Coordinators conduct consultative meetings for choosing nominees on the various categories and submit to the Dean/Principal. Only one nominee for each category is allowed.
- The Dean/Principal then submits the nomination forms to HRO. HRO then forwards the qualified nominees to the Screening Committee for final deliberation.
- The Committee may call on the Dean/Principal to provide documents or pieces of evidence in case clarification is needed.
Selection Process for Admin/Formator/ NTS
All nominations will come from all members of the XU community using online forms. HRO will sort our nominations according to respective category and forward the qualified nominees to the screening committee.
Submit your nomination using the 2018 Xavier Ateneo Ignatian Awards Nomination Form on or before 5PM of May 2, 2018.
