Crop Science is a four-year course under the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program. The course includes basic agricultural courses such as soil science, genetics, plant breeding, plant physiology, cereals, and other elective subjects on plantation and ornamental crops.

Objectives

Crop Science addresses the problems of food shortage. The course deals with the application of scientific principles in crop production. It specifically aims to produce graduates who are technologically equipped to respond to the challenges of production, utilization, handling, processing, distribution, and application of technologies.
