Formation and Advocacy
Participants to the Summer Internship Program (SIP) are incoming 2nd and 3rd year students of the College of Law
Resident interns are those enrolled and have residency with Xavier University College of Law
Volunteer lawyers are alumni of XU College of law of have undergone training with XUCLA’s SIP.
First year students who are enrolled to Human Rights will be exposed to actual human rights issues.
Legal Aid and Case Management
Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) is the venue for fourth year law students for practical case handling and litigation.
Fourth year law students are conducting legal consultations to various communities through outreach.
Legal and Policy Research
Fourth year law students with the CLEP are conducting policy inventory, policy analysis, formulating policy outlines, as well as policy recommendations.
First year law students who are enrolled to Legal Research can take part in the University’s policy development and policy agenda.
