The Senior High School Grant-in-Aid is the University’s response to provide quality education to poor but deserving students. It is a financial aid for qualified incoming Senior High School whose academic performance in high school is above average, with a General Scholastic Aptitude (GSA) Score of 80-95% in the XU Entrance Exam and whose total annual family income does not exceed to Php500,000.00 for a family of 5 or per capita income of Php100,000 as evidenced by a certified true copy of the latest annual Income Tax Return or where not applicable, a statement from BIR of tax exemption with attached affidavit of sources of income.

The Archbishop Hayes SJ Scholarships for XUSHS provide quality Ateneo education to deserving students from public and private high schools. It is a full scholarship offered to qualified incoming Senior High School students who belong to the top 10 percent of his/her batch of Junior HS completers, with a General Scholastic Aptitude (GSA) score of at least 60 percentile (60%) in the XU Entrance Exam or CSAT and whose per capita income does not exceed Php100,000.00 as evidenced by a certified true copy of the latest annual Income Tax Return or where not applicable, a statement from BIR of tax exemption with attached affidavit of sources of income.
Coverage: Equivalent to Php40,000 to cover a portion of the school fees plus voucher from DepEd

The Andrew L Gotianun Sr Center for Integrated Technologies (ALGCIT) Scholarship, an endowment from the Gotianun Foundation, is a three-year residential Tech-Voc Senior High School FULL SCHOLARSHIP for competent yet financially disadvantaged youth. The program features (1) quality instruction and learning environment, (2) intensive Jesuit-Ateneo formation, and (3) an extended academic, community, and on-the-job experience. Tuition, matriculation, books, and other school fees are all covered by this scholarship.
ALGCIT scholars will be housed in modern and safe dormitories, and hold their classes in a state-of-the-art building situated inside the Manresa complex. The new campus provides plenty of opportunities and activities for our ALGCIT scholars while they complete their academic requirements and develop their technical skills.
The four ALGCIT Tech-Voc Specializations are the following:
- Automotive Servicing
- Computer and Electronics Technology
- Energy and Power System
- Mechanical Design and Fabrication
The Center has existing partnerships with numerous local and international companies to employ its graduates. Students who complete the program are also eligible to take the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) National Certificate (NC) examinations for the respective qualifications embedded in each program.
At the end of the three-year ALGCIT program, the scholars are expected to graduate world-ready, with international standard competencies, and spiritual and social commitment the Xavier Ateneo way.
Eligibility Requirements
The applicant for an ALGCIT full scholarship must:
- Be currently in Grade 10 or have completed Grade 10
- Be not more than 18 years old by June 2019
- Have a family income of no more than Php500,000 or Php50K per capita
- Be eligible for a DepEd voucher
- Be mentally and physically fit doe tech-voc studies and dorm life (PWD students are welcome.)
- Have no disciplinary cases in previous and/or current school
- Pass the XU Scholarship & Admission Exam
- Be committed towards a three-year SHS Tech-Voc program

G-i-As are distinct from academic scholarships. G-i-As are primarily awarded based on the assessed financial capability of the family. The grant is renewable every semester based on financial assessment, grade requirement, and other obligations as stated in the scholarship policy. The AAO Director with the College Scholarship Board sees to the administration of the Grant-in-Aid and other grants funded by the university and other private benefactors or donors.
This is a scholarship which XU offers for students who are endowed with academic ability and skills but do not have sufficient financial resources to obtain a Jesuit education.
