Dr. Beng is presently the Dean of Xavier Ateneo-School of Education. She is actively involved in various engagements in the university: research, community engagement, in-service training, continuing professional development programs, and student mentoring. As a peace advocate, she has committed to work with the US Embassy- Manila for Madrasah and Peace Education initiatives for Mindanao and the whole country. She also completed the International Visitors Leadership Program hosted by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in 2016. Ma’am Beng’s love for teaching is also manifested in her almost 30 years of service in Xavier Ateneo as a learning leader. She also teaches in the graduate school programs of the School of Education.

Dr. Chatty is currently the IDEA Program Coordinator and the Graduate Studies Director of the School of Education. As an Assistant Professor in Xavier Ateneo, she is teaching a wide range of subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Research Methods, Statistics, Assessment, Music and Art Education both in the undergraduate and graduate levels. As an artist and singer, Dr. Chatty is into theatre arts as well, who shared her talent in the Night School Program of Xavier Ateneo by teaching ALS learners to maximize their music skills. As a researcher, she is associated in many research projects in and out of Xavier Ateneo. As a peace advocate, Ma’am Chatty completed the International Visitors Leadership Program hosted by the U.S. Department of State with its theme “The Role of the Academe in Countering Violent Extremism”. She is an alumni of Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute 2019 and is also actively involved in projects and teachers’ training for Peace Education in Mindanao.

Ma’am Marvz wears many hats: she is closely working with the Cagayan de Oro- Local School Board as Representative for the Academe, and also for the following: Technical Education and Skills Development Employment Committee, Cagayan de Oro Scholarship Technical Working Group, and the Cagayan de Oro City Scholarship Board. Presently, she is also the chairperson of the Early Childhood Care and Development Coordinating Committee- CDO. On top of these, she is also the Director of the Arrupe Educational Center and the college Social Development coordinator. During her term, Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan and Northern Illinois University (NIU) partnership has been formed for the implementation of the Philippine Youth Leadership Program (PYLP) in the country.

Dr. Kathleen works closely with the Vice-President for Higher Education in Xavier Ateneo as the Assistant to the VPHEd for Curriculum and Instruction. Aside from this, Ma’am Kath is also the Professional Education Coordinator in the School of Education. Because of her expertise in Research Methods, Measurement, Assessment and Evaluation, and Curriculum Development, she is constantly invited as a resource speaker in many seminars and workshops across the region. A true example of an Atenean learning leader, Ma’am Kath’s dedication and commitment in improving the quality of instruction in Xavier Ateneo is manifested in her 15 years of service in the university.

Dr. Ajo has varied experiences in and out of the academe. Ma’am Mia as she is fondly called, is the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) Coordinator in the School of Education. As a champion of the mentoring program in the college, she oversees the implementation of the program, and works closely with the Cagayan de Oro City Scholars for the student mentoring. As a college professor, she teaches varied subjects such as special education, management, professional education, and research subjects in the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is connected with the XU-SOE Parents- Teachers Association as the treasurer for quite some time now. Dr. Mia has also worked in different industries, with experiences in accounting and business.

Miss Nads is currently the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) coordinator of the School of Education. She is teaching Early Childhood Education and Professional Education subjects. Dr. Jovy has a Masters Degree in Education major in School Management from Xavier University. Also, she holds a MA Education-Pathway in  Measurement, Assessment and Research Methods from the University of Adelaide in Australia and PhD in Education from Xavier Ateneo. Dr. Jovy was also the 3rd Xavier Ateneo dean who has been chosen as a United Board Fellow for Christian Higher Education in Asia for 2018-2019. An accomplished young leader in higher education, Dr. Jovelyn has various administrative roles and teaching experiences in Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation, Research Methods, Peace Education, Curriculum Design, Systems Analysis, and Curriculum Quality Assessment. She is also a member of the CHED National Technical Working Group on Teacher Training and Instruction Programs.

Miss Georgia is currently the moderator of the School of Education’s college council, Teachers’ Guild. She was actively involved in the mentoring of the Sped Society (SpedSoc), which paved the way for her to be a finalist in the outstanding moderator category in the Magis Awards 2018 and 2020. As a peace educator, Miss Georgia advocates  peace education in and out of the university. Her other community engagements include the PagBasa project, in partnership with the XU National Service Training Program (NSTP). Also an active member of the faculty promotions team of Xavier Ateneo, she leads the college in the year-round promotional activities. She is currently undergoing her PhD program in Xavier Ateneo.

Dr. Junefel works closely with the university research council as the research coordinator of the School of Education.
