Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan Dr Jose P Rizal School of Medicine will host the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges - Student Network (APMC-SN) National Planning and Evaluation Seminar (PLEVSEM) from June 20 to 22.

Over 200 student leaders from the various APMC-SN member schools nationwide are expected to attend the three-day convention at the Xavier Ateneo Main Campus.

The event, which is held annually, consists of formal talks and workshop sessions aimed at promoting networking and capacity-building among the represented medical student councils in order for the student network to plan for the projects for the incoming fiscal year. This year’s convention is the first to be held in Mindanao.

The Association of Philippine Medical Colleges - Student Network is an assembly of Philippine medical students represented by their respective student councils working in partnership with the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges Foundation to promote an active role for students in the development of medical education.∎
