A former McKeough Marine Center (MMC) colleague and Xavier University Marine Biology alumna made her dedication to conserving coastal ecosystems be realized. She is now a co-founder and program director of Oceanus, a nonprofit organization she launched in 2020 to help conserve coastal ecosystems including mangroves, coral reefs, and wildlife.
