Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA), XU Cultural Dance Troupe and XU Central Student Government will hold ARTEKULTURA 2- an inter-art genre lecture series and practice presentation on August 6 - 7, 2009 8:00 a.m. at the XU Little Theatre. This year, Artekultura features the following topics, to wit: Proper Costuming Faithful to its Indigenous Sources; Cultural Productions and Special Events Preparations and Management; Preservation of Local Cultural Heritage; Ethnomusicology: the state of Northern Mindanao Ethnic Music.
 

Artekultura pool of speakers includes Prof Christian T N Aguado, Ms A Pauleta R Roa, Prof Francisco A Englis and Prof Steven P C Fernandez DFA.
 

In line with this, we would like to invite you and your faculty members, Humanities and Literature student to join ARTEKULTURA. This lecture series is best for culture and arts awareness and understanding as it is a flagship project for our cultural education program.
 

The registration fee is Php150.00 for professional participants and Php50.00 for students. A certificate of participation will be given to all registered participants who will finish the lecture series.
