Xavier University is the No 2 top performing nursing school in the country based on the results of the December 2012 licensure examination for nurses, with 50 or more examinees. The university earned a passing percentage of 97.93.

Moreover, seven of XU’s graduates landed in the top ten in the said examination. These are Ysabel Marie Zubiri who secured the 8th place with a grade of 84.20%, Klarc Patrick Gontiñas, Aiko Jane Osa and Dulcinea Soloveres who all placed 9th with a grade of 84%, and Farah Adap, Kenneth Jun Logroño and Katrina Gracia Mangubat in 10th place with a grade of 83.80%.

In his memo to the community, XU President Fr Roberto Yap SJ congratulated the college of Nursing and expressed his well-wishes to the new nurses. “May God always grant you the grace to become nurses-for-others,” the memo said.
