The Dr Jose P Rizal School of Medicine has been granted a Level II Accreditation status for five years by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), an organization composed of different private schools which accredits programs that meet standards of quality education.

The School of Medicine’s PAASCU committee was composed of Dr Leo Notario for Mission and Vision, Dr Ruth Beltran for Administration, Dr Agaton Panopio Jr for Curriculum and Instruction, Dr Evelyn Oh for Faculty, Dr Jovy Bacot for Clinical Training and Service Facilities, Dr Ma Luisa Tan for Library, Dr Myra Maria Peralta for Students, Dr Isabelo Sabanal Jr for Physical Plant, and Dr Gina Itchon for Research and over-all chair of the committee.

In addition to the School of Medicine, XU has a PAASCU Level IV accreditation status for its Education, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration and Accountancy programs, Level III accreditation status for its Agriculture program, and Level II accreditation for its Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering programs.
