Museo de Oro’s summer art workshop “Sining sa Tag-araw 2013” held its commencement ceremony on May 18, International Museum Day, at the Museo de Oro grounds.

The Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) facilitated the giving of certificates and awards to the participants who were mostly children. In his message, XCCA Director Hobart Savior extended his gratitude to the students and the parents who supported their children. Savior commended the parents for allowing their children to spend their summer break learning about art rather than leaving them to play computer games. He emphasized the contribution of art in molding children to become holistic individuals.
