Xavier University - College of Law is set to receive an award as one of the top 10 law schools in the country.

The recognition will be conferred by the Legal Education Board on the occasion of its 5th founding anniversary on December 1 at Bayleaf Hotel, Intramuros, Manila.

Xavier Law’s inclusion to the list of top law schools was determined on the basis of its cumulative ratings in the Bar Examinations of 2012, 2013 and 2014 as certified by the Bar Confidant of the Supreme Court.

In his message to the academic community, XU president Fr Roberto “Bobby” C Yap SJ expressed his gratitude to dean Atty Raul R Villanueva, faculty, staff, students and graduates of the College of Law “for their magis in maintaining the status of XU Law as one of the best in the country.”

“May they practice the law that will truly serve the common good with special care for those who are poor and powerless; ad majorem dei gloriam,” Fr Bobby added.
