The Governance and Leadership Institute (GLI) of Xavier University facilitated a Team Learning Workshop for the employees of the Cagayan de Oro Water District – Finance Department on April 23at Apple Tree Hotel, Opol, Misamis Oriental.

The Team Learning workshop was anchored on Peter Senge’s Theory on Learning Organizations covering topics on Shared Vision, Personal Mastery, Mental Model, Systems Thinking, and Team Learning facilitated through team building games and exercises.  

The activity was attended by the entire bureaucracy of the COWD Finance Department composed of the Cashiering Division, Properties Division, and Accounting Division.

“This training has given us new perspectives on how to go about the work that we do at COWD,” said Marilou Ondap, COWD Finance Department Manager.

COWD envisions being the most outstanding water services provider in the country.
