As contribution to this year’s Higalaay Festival, Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) is set to frontline the Cagayan de Oro People’s Gala Concert on August 31 at the activity center of Centrio - Ayala Mall.

Cagayan de Oro People’s Gala is a collaborative arts exposition via concert production and on-the-spot sketching and painting. The concert will draw together performance, visual, cinema, and literary artists of Cagayan de Oro City and Northern Mindanao in one stage. (See poster below.)

The concert starts at 4PM and admission is free. Donations are also welcome at the concert which will be turned over to the Tabang AdZU Campaign of Xavier University.

This concert production aims to celebrate and sustain the arts industry of CDO underscoring the theme “Contemporary Fusion” for its first exposition.
