Iana Edrianne M. Awayan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication degree from Xavier University. Her first foray into writing was in 6th grade where she won first place in the grade school category for an Inter School Essay Writing Competition sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro. She would go on to write articles for the school paper and for her co-curricular organization throughout her school years. She is fond of writing fanfiction and publishes her works at Archive of Our Own (archiveofourown.org). Currently, she is working as a full-time freelance writer, creating stories for people and weaving their ideas into words.
