is the founder of NAGMAC, an organization of writers from Cagayan de Oro. As her brainchild, NAGMAC becomes a conduit for networking and activities meant to foster regional writing.  A busy bee, Mai divides her time organizing poetry readings, launching literary magazines, and writers workshop. NAGMAC has received a Lambago Award for literature from the Culture and Arts Office from Xavier University.
