The St Peter Faber, SJ Scholarship Grant is open to incoming freshmen of the Xavier Ateneo School of Education who aspire to become teacher leaders committed to serve.
Terms and Benefits
- The Scholarship Grant is for students pursuing degrees in Special Needs Education (with specialization in Early Childhood Education) and Elementary Education.
- Full coverage of tuition and matriculation fees for the entire duration of the program
- Maintaining a minimum of QPI of 3.0 per semester to retain the scholarship.
- P10, 000 subsidy for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT)
- Mandatory two-year return service commitment as a teacher in Xavier Ateneo’s Basic Education units upon graduation.
Eligibility
- Incoming college freshmen and graduating SHS students
- Must have an outstanding academic record with general weighted average of at least 85%
- Students from households with a total annual family income of P600, 000 and below and in need of financial assistance to pursue their studies
- Must exemplify good moral character and show active participation and community involvement

- Senior High School Report Card (Form 138)
- Accomplished Scholarship Applicant Questionnaire Form (downloadable from the form)
- Any of the following Proof of Family Income:
i.) Parents' Income Tax Return (ITR of both parents) – BIR Form 2316 and/or BIR Form 1701
ii.) Notarized Affidavit of Source of Income with Amount
iii.) OFW - Photocopy of Contract of Employment
iv.) Notarized Affidavit of Support with Amount
v.) Certificate of Employment with Monthly Compensation
- Admissions Clearance (kindly head over here for the instructions on how to secure an admissions clearance). Must indicate acceptance to either of the following programs: Special Needs Education (with specialization in Early Childhood Education) Elementary Education.
- Complete and upload all the requirements to this form. Applications without the required documents or with incomplete information will not be processed.
All applications must be submitted on or before Tuesday, 30 June 2026, 5 PM. Late or incomplete submissions will not be processed.
- All received applications will be screened, and a shortlist will be announced. All shortlisted applicants will undergo a panel interview. The scholarships committee will deliberate and make the final selection of scholarship grantees.
- Selected applicants will receive an email containing further details and instructions about their grant.
- Scholarships are awarded to successfully processed applicants, evidenced by the receipt of a Notice of Scholarship Award (NSA).
