The St Francis Xavier Grant-in-Aid is a scholarship awarded to high-performing applicants who demonstrate financial need by excelling on the scholarship examination. To qualify, an applicant's total annual family income must not exceed P500, 000 for a family of five (5), or a per capita income of P100, Eligibility must be verified by submitting a certified true copy of the parent/s' or guardian/s' latest annual Income Tax Return (ITR) form, or, if not applicable, a notarized affidavit detailing the source and annual amount of income.
Applications for the St Francis Xavier Scholarship are processed strictly on a "first come, first served" basis, meaning eligible qualifiers must submit their documents as early as possible to secure a slot. The Office of Scholarships and Grants maintains a firm policy of immediately ceasing to accept applications once the maximum number of scholarship slots has been filled or when the published submission deadline has officially passed, whichever occurs first.
St Francis Xavier Scholars enjoy P25, 000 per semester coverage and P10, 000 during the intersession term, if required.
How to apply for the scholarship?
1. Senior High School graduates who are incoming freshmen to Xavier Ateneo must take the Scholarship Examination. Head on here for the examination dates and registration process.
2. Applicants must meet the cut-off for the scholarship.
3. Eligible applicants will receive an email containing instructions on how to accomplish the requisite scholarship form and the documents that need to be submitted.
All submissions must be received on or before the indicated deadline. Late or incomplete submissions will not be processed.
4. Scholarshipsare awarded to successfully processed applicants who meet the scholarship cut-off and family income requirements evidenced by the receipt of a Notice of Scholarship Award (NSA).
