XU Graphic and Identity Standards
Named in honor of St Francis Xavier, Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan treats with high respect its name, seal and logo as identity marks by which people from around the world have come to identify the University. This manual contains specific guidelines on the standards of Xavier University’s Graphic Identity System to provide a unified approach to all forms of University communications, specifically those touching on the visual representation of the University mission.
Consistent use of the University symbols helps establish a strong and distinctive identity for the University, and adherence to common standards ensures that the symbols appear correctly on all communication materials produced.
The XU Identity Standards should remain consistent and distinct, using colors, imagery, language and typography that reflect the mission and vision of the University. These guidelines were developed after extensive consultation with the University administration and were approved by the University Board of Trustees (BOT Res. No. 08 s 2012-13)
