In consonance with the mandates from the Commission on Higher Education (CMO 46, S2012; CMO 09, S2003) for colleges and universities in the country to engage in research for knowledge production and technology generation, in particular for academic purposes and in general for the furtherance of nation building and internationalization, Xavier University Graduate School, will host the 2020 Graduate Research Forum themed “Advancing the Research Culture in the Graduate Programs VI” on February 15, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the XU Amphitheatre for the plenary presentations in the morning and at the Audio Visual rooms for the parallel  sessions in the afternoon.In consonance with the mandates from the Commission on Higher Education (CMO 46, S2012; CMO 09, S2003) for colleges and universities in the country to engage in research for knowledge production and technology generation, in particular for academic purposes and in general for the furtherance of nation building and internationalization, Xavier University Graduate School, will host the 2020 Graduate Research Forum themed “Advancing the Research Culture in the Graduate Programs VI” on February 15, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the XU Amphitheatre for the plenary presentations in the morning and at the Audio Visual rooms for the parallel  sessions in the afternoon.
 
This forum features the presentation of the research outputs of students and mentors in the graduate Dissertation, Thesis Writing, Special Problem, Practicum Paper, Capstone Project and Development Action Plan requirements of the various graduate programs. It also serves as a venue for research dissemination requirements for graduation.
 
Dr. Raul C Alvarez Jr, CHED – 10 Regional Director, is the forum’s Keynote Speaker in the plenary session, while Dr Chona R Echavez, will share her paper on Longitudinal Cohort Study on the Filipino Child” and 30 other presenters of diverse topics and types of paper in the parallel sessions in the afternoon.
