I am a non-teaching staff and every year my position requires me to be in GALA uniform for special events like graduation. May I also request for barong this year even if these have already been distributed?

I am afraid that no barongs will be allocated in SY18-19 since the allocations were accomplished this year.

Answer:

If you have not received the SY17-18 set of regular uniforms or a clothing allowance, you may request in writing to waive both in favor of the barong.

HRO will accommodate such requests until Sept 30. However, as a norm, NTS are provided regular uniforms unless pre-identified to server in graduations. When already provided with such, the NTS may opt to request for a gala uniform at his/her own expenses.
