To ensure the integrity and scholarship in published article, authors are expected to adhere to ethical requirements in the preparation of their manuscript.
- Articles should be original and have never been published elsewhere, in part or whole.
- Double submission, or simultaneous submission of the same article to two journals is discouraged.
- A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. However, inclusion of citations that are not relevant to the work is highly discouraged.
- Individuals who were part of the development of the manuscript but do not qualify as authors should be acknowledged. Similarly, organizations that provided supporting terms of funding should be acknowledged.
- When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
