The Andrew L Gotianun Sr Center for Integrated Technologies (ALGCIT) Senior High School is an endowment from the Andrew L Gotianun Foundation for a two-year residential Tech-Voc Senior High School to competent yet financially disadvantaged youth.
Application to the ALGCIT Scholarship is open to incoming Grade 11 Students who are either currently enrolled in Grade 10 (Route 1), or, previous Junior High School completers who did not enroll in any Senior High School prior to applying in XU-SHS (Route 2).
ALGCIT Scholars enjoy 100% school fees coverage with free board and lodging in Filinvest Hall, a modern and safe dormitory inside the Manresa Farm Complex.

Step 1.

Kindly prepare scanned or photocopies (e.g., Xerox) of the following documents. Please note that when documents are not scanned, mobile photos may be submitted in lieu of, but they must be clear and contents are readable.
Route 1: Currently enrolled Grade 10 students.
a) Filled-out ALGCIT Scholarship application form. Kindly include 1x1 colored photo of the applicant. (Download form https://forms.gle/uRynumiJuD7tv62s6 )
b) Grade 10 Report Card (Form 138-A or SF-9) with complete third quarter grades indicating a minimum General Weighted Average of 80%.
c) Recommendation Letter from the Junior High School Principal or School Head
d) Parents' latest Income Tax Return (ITR) indicating Gross Annual Income of Php100K or lower, or, any of the following:
i.)Notarized Affidavit of Source of Income with amount
ii.) Notarized Affidavit of Support with amount
iii.) Contract of Employment for OFW parents indicating compensation
iv.) Clear photocopy (front and back) of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ID
(NOTE: Barangay Certification of Indigency and BIR Tax exemptions are NOT accepted as proof of income.)
Route 2: Previous Junior High School completers who did not enroll in any Senior High School prior to applying in XU-SHS.

b) Grade 10 Report Card (Form 138-A or SF-9) with complete grades indicating a minimum General Weighted Average of 80%.
c) A Recommendation Letter and Certificate of Good Moral from the Junior High School Principal or School Head
d) Parents' latest Income Tax Return (ITR) indicating Gross Annual Income of Php100K or lower, or, any of the following:
i.)Notarized Affidavit of Source of Income with amount
ii.) Notarized Affidavit of Support with amount
iii.) Contract of Employment for OFW parents indicating compensation

Applications without the required documents or with incomplete information will not be processed for screening. If you are unable to submit a document, please provide an explanation letter.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: May 13, 2022
No late submissions will be accepted.
Step 2.
A committee will screen, and select the top 120 pre-qualifiers to proceed to the next step. A notification will be sent to the pre-qualified applicants.
Step 3.
All 120 pre-qualifiers shall undergo a 5-day intensive enrichment classes via MSTeams, which will run from June 13-17, 2022. At the end of the classes, a diagnostic test will be given to select the top eighty (80) scorers.
Step 4.
The names of the top eighty (80) scorers are submitted to the University President for approval. Once approved, they are awarded the ALGCIT scholarship for SY 2022-2023. A notification will be sent to the qualified applicants.
Step 5.
The Notice of Scholarship Award (NSA) will be sent to the grantees. New scholars may upload the NSA in lieu of the proof of down payment during enrolment.
