Online Entrance Exams 2 orientation

XU Online College Entrance Exam for the Accountancy, Nursing and Engineering courses for the SY 2021-20221.

Introduction: Interested graduating SHS Grade 12 applicants or college students (transferees) for the Accountancy, Nursing or Engineering courses, may register and apply to, and take the XU Online College Entrance Exam for SY 2021-2022. Applicants must not have taken the Online College Scholarship Exams given last March-April 2021.

1. Screening procedure.

a. Click the link https://tinyurl.com/XUEntranceExamRegistration . This is a registration form to screen your status. You must have NOT TAKEN the Online College Scholarship Exams conducted by Xavier University on March-April 2021 otherwise your application will not be accepted. Fill-up the information needed in the Initial Registration Form.
b. Wait for an email reply from the University Testing Center within 5 working days, which will include the link to the final registration form to the Online College Entrance Exam on May-July 2021

2. Pay the exam Pay 170 pesos as exam fee through two options.

a. For exam fee payment, you have the following options:

1. Pay at the XU Main campus Finance Office during business hours, Mondays to Fridays (dress code and protocols needs to be observed for campus access).
2. For bank payment, you may use the

Or through Over the counter and Online Fund Transfer,
with the BPI Account Name: Xavier University.

b. Please note that payment through the bank will still be verified (in 2-3 days).

3. Prepare for the exam registration Prepare the following:

  1. Scanned copy of deposit slip or proof of payment (please write your complete name on the receipt)
  2. Scanned copy of 1x1 recent photo (with white background)
  3. Scanned copy of valid school ID (back to back) or scanned copy of a Certification of Enrolment from the School Principal with student’s photo.

4. Register for online testing.

a. Click on the link to the Registration Form to the College Online Entrance Exam (provided on an email mentioned at Step 1b).
b. Answer the brief survey.
c. Make sure that you give a valid e-mail address (preferably a g-mail account). Give also your personal FB account and mobile contact numbers.
d. Choose only two (2) preferred College courses from a list which will be provided for you.
e. Enter your preferred testing date (dates are provided for options at the registration form).  An exam date may be closed upon full capacity (maximum of 30 takers), so that a final exam date will be provided for you.
f. Attach your scanned documents (photo, ID and proof of testing fee payment).
g. If payment was made through the bank, please report the account and date of payment.
h. Review your entries to the Online Testing Registration Form, then click “Submit.”

5. Wait for an email reply of testing instructions.

a. The University Testing Center will work on your registration in 1-2 weeks/7-10 working days.
b. Once your payment and information are verified, an email will be sent which will include your testing date and time, testing orientation materials, and other instructions.This will also serve as your Permit-to-Exam.

6.  Attend the virtual exam orientation.

a. Please study the online exam procedure through the exam orientation materials.
b. Practice taking the online exam. Follow instructions carefully.
c. Your online orientation schedule is provided for you at the Permit-to-Exam. Attend the orientation.

7. Take the exam.

a. Prepare your Permit-to-Exam.
b. Prepare your exam environment and devices.
c. Prepare yourself for the exam. Sleep early the night before your exam schedule. Set the alarm for your wake-up time. Take a good meal before the start of your exam.
d. Set yourself up at least 30 minutes before the exam time.
e. Pray
f. At exam time, click on the Google Meet link provided for you. Meet the Proctor and follow preliminary steps. Your proctor will provide the link to your exam.
g. Take the exam

8. View your score and wait for instructions for XU admission.

  1. Exam results may be viewed 10 working days after the exam To view your score, kindly check on the link provided by the University Testing Center (please refer to your exam permit) and type in your login credentials.

Scholarships for XU Senior High

Scholarship Exam for Academic Scholarships

The scholarship examination is open to all currently enrolled Grade 10 students and Grade 10 completers in SY 2019-2020 who have not enrolled in any Senior High School

To apply, all applicants shall follow the following steps:

1. Choose a preferred online scholarship exam date.

There are 4 online scholarship examination dates, but we can only accommodate up to 400 examinees each time. Please choose one preferred date from the following: May 8, 15, 22 or 29, 2021 (all Saturdays).

The final exam date and time will be provided after the exam payment and submitted requirements are verified.

2. Pay the exam fee.

Applicants can pay the 170 pesos exam fee either through the:

  • XU Finance Office. Pay at the XU Main Campus Finance Office during business hours, Mondays to Fridays. (The dress code and IATF protocols need to be observed for campus access).
  • Bank. Bank payment can be Over the Counter or through Online Fund Transfer to the University account at the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)

3. Prepare a scanned copy of the following exam registration requirements: 

  1. Deposit slip or proof of payment (please write your complete name on the receipt)
  2. 1x1 recent photo (with white background)
  3. Student school ID (back-to-back) or report card with 1x1 photo or scanned copy of a Certification of Enrolment from the School Principal with 1x1 photo.

4. Register for online testing.  Click at https://tinyurl.com/XUSHSOnlineExam for the online registration form, and follow the following steps:

  1. Answer a brief survey.
  2. Make sure that you give a valid e-mail address (preferably a Gmail account).
  3. Provide your personal FB account and mobile contact numbers.
  4. Choose only two (2) preferred strands from either Academic and TVL-ALGCIT Tracks.
  5. Enter your preferred testing date.
  6. Attach your scanned documents (photo, ID/certification/report card and proof of testing fee payment).
  7. If payment was made through the bank, please report the account reference number and date of payment.
  8. Review your entries to the Online Testing Registration Form, then click “Submit.”

5. Wait for emailed testing instructions.

  1. After completion and submission of the Online Testing Registration Form, Google will send you a copy of your responses to the Registration Form through your email address.
  2. Once your payment and information are verified, an email bearing your testing date and time, testing orientation materials, and other instructions will be sent.  This will also serve as your Permit-to-Exam.

6. Attend the virtual exam orientation.

All applicants are required to:

  1. Study the online exam procedure through the exam orientation materials and practice taking the online exam. 
  2. Follow instructions carefully; raise any questions and clarifications during the actual virtual orientation session; and
  3. Attend the virtual exam orientation schedule communicated to you through the Permit-To-Exam provided.

7. Take the exam.

All applicants are required to:

  1. Prepare their Permit-to-Exam, and school ID or School Certification or Report Card;
  2. Prepare your exam environment and devices.
  3. Set-up at least 30 minutes before the exam time;
  4. Click on the Google Meet link provided to you 30 minutes before the “Exam Preliminaries Time”
  5. Meet the proctor and follow preliminary steps and wait until the proctor provides the link to your exam.
  6. Take the exam as instructed.

8. View your score and wait for instructions for XU admission.

Exam results can be viewed starting June 16, 2021.  To view your score, kindly check on the link stipulated on your exam permit provided by the University Testing Center and type in your login credentials.

6. If needed, opt to attend the virtual exam orientation.

a. Please study the online exam procedure through the exam orientation materials.
b. Practice taking the online exam.  Follow instructions carefully.
c. In case you have any questions and need for clarification, you may opt to join the virtual or online exam orientation. Your schedule is provided for you.  It will be on a Saturday before your exam date.

7. Take the exam.

a. Prepare your Permit-to-Exam.
b. Prepare your exam environment and devices.
c. Prepare yourself for the exam.  Sleep early the night before your exam schedule.  Set the alarm for your wake-up time. Take a good meal before the start of your exam.
d. Set yourself up at least 30 minutes before the exam time.
e. Pray.
f. At exam time, click on the Google Meet link provided for you.  Meet the Proctor and follow preliminary steps. Your proctor will provide the  link to your exam.
g. Take the exam.
