- Implements cooperative programs with other universities;
- Promotes and develops agreements with new foreign institutions;
- facilitates the foreign students admission; orient them; take care of the welfare of foreign students;
- Disseminates information on foreign opportunities for XU students and such as scholarships, short or long term exchange programs, international conferences and seminars;
- participates in Student Service Learning Programs in particular with AJCU-AP as a founding institution.
OICN - provides services and facilitates
- Assistance for XU students who are going to foreign universities;
- Enrolment of incoming foreign students to XU;
- Welfare programs for foreign students.
OICN strengthens and implements the existing agreements with schools, organizations, and institutions with which XU has established and maintains contacts and relations, and develops new agreements with other institutions.
It implements guidelines and criteria for application for the exchange programs; gathers information on other institutions having international programs and disseminates information on additional opportunities for XU students, faculty and staff. It facilitates intercultural dialogue by contacting cultural centers in order to facilitate organization of seminars, lectures, exhibits, artistic events with foreign participants.

Who May Apply
Anyone seeking admission to the medical school must have the following qualifications:
- He/she must be a holder of a bachelor’s degree in sciences or arts (AB/BS) conferred by a duly recognized educational institution. The degree/course must have been taken within a five-year period prior to the filing of application. A one semester refresher course is required of those who graduated beyond five years.
- He/she must have a score of 60%tile or higher on the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT)* taken within the years 2013-2014.

Selection of Students
The selection of students for admission is the responsibility of the Admissions Committee which shall evaluate with care and fairness the total qualifications of each applicant, based on academic records, NMAT Score, personal interview and the health care report.
Enrolment procedure for all accepted applicants
- Submit the following documents at the administrative office of the School of Medicine during enrolment period
- For issuance of Certificate of Eligibility for Admission into the Medicine Course:
- Original transcript of records issued for purposes of CEM (Certificate of Eligibility for Admission into the Medicine Course) (TOR issued for Employment and Board Exam will not be accepted) plus 2 photocopies
- Photocopy of diploma or Certificate of graduation from the registrar of school last attended if diploma is not yet Available – 2 copies
- Original copies of certificate of good moral character from three officials of school last attended (Dean, Guidance Counselor/Student Affairs Office and a science teacher)
- Photocopy of Birth certificate from NSO and Local Civil Registrar – 2 clear photocopies each; additional marriage contract for females
- For foreign students original copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Admission (CEA) is issued by CHED, Manila, General Services at UP, Diliman, Quezon City.
- Transfer credentials Original and photocopy (for non XU graduates only)
- NMAT official result – Original and 2 clear photocopies
- If married, photocopy of Marriage contract
- Two recent 1 x 1 ID pictures
