Orientation Seminar
A prerequisite program for all new students of Xavier University. The program enables new students have smooth transition from high school to college and introduces them the mission, vision, and inner workings of the University.
Magis Awards
Is an annual search for outstanding projects, student leaders, and student organizations who have demonstrated Ignatian ideals of service and excellence. The recipients of the awards are honored for fostering collaboration and unity with organizations and institutions within and outside the University. As a way of contributing to national development, the search challenges student leaders and student organizations to engage in community projects and commit to the civic purposes of their chosen fields.
Review and Recognition Committee
Is a policy-making body composed of representatives from the different colleges and program coordinators of SACDEV-OSA. It helps student leaders reach high standards in terms of implementing programs and projects. Its main functions are to review and gauge the performance of student organizations, confer awards and recognition on outstanding groups and individuals, and establish the norms and conditions by which student organizations may be allowed to function.
Moderators’ Affairs
Is a system that formalizes the appointment of university personnel who oversee the activities of an organization; provides information for both the organization and the moderator about the roles and responsibilities; and evaluates the relationship of the organization to the moderator and vice versa.
The Guidance and Counseling Office (GCO) is a support department of the University that promotes the highest possible level of human growth and development of students through services that facilitate such growh process.
GCO allows students to experience various aspects of their personality (academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual) in an integrated way in order to achieve total human development and become more effective participants in the development of society (and the building up of the Church).
The University Athletics Office (UAO) develops and implements the Wellness, Fitness and Sports Programs of the University for its students, student-athletes, faculty, formators, staff and alumni.
The office encourages the participation of all stakeholders in various wellness, fitness and sports programs and activities. The different wellness, fitness and sports programs of the office emphasizes healthy living, sportsmanship, fair play and team work.The office also trains student-athletes who will represent the university in inter-collegiate competitions and other sporting events. As the official representative of the university during competitions, the UAO also helps the university promote its various academic programs, in coordination with the Office of the Promotion, Testing and Admission (OPTA)
Aside from organizing and managing the different wellness, fitness and sports activities, the UAO also manages and facilitates the reservation and use of the different university sports facilities (gymnasium, covered courts and Football field), in coordination with the Physical Plant Office (PPO).
The UAO also supervises and evaluates the Athletics Scholarship Program, in coordination with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA).
Counseling
Individual and group sessions, conducted by trained counselors, are offered to students who have special concerns regarding their academic, career, family or personal life in general.
Testing
Through standardized tests, assessment of individual strengths and weaknesses in the areas of personality, intelligence, aptitudes, values, interests and job preferences are being offered. Test results are interpreted for the student's own self-awareness, growth and development.
Individual Inventory
To help the student keep track of his/her personal growth and development, the CRC makes sure that educational records, test results, and interview notes are safely filed in individual envelopes and updated yearly.
Academic/Probation Follow-up
Students on probation and those with low grades are given assistance and dealt with individually to find out possible causes of their poor performance. The program helps students develop proper attitudes and more effective skills in coping with academic difficulties.
Placement Program
Placement counselors are available to help graduating students prepare for future job screening by giving them exit interviews. Counselors provide an honest feedback to students regarding their strengths and weaknesses based on such interviews. Moreover, CRC conducts and organizes job search seminars, job fairs and expositions to help graduating and graduate students in their job placements.

Scholars' Assistance Program
Scholars, as they make their way adjusting to life in the University, are provided with individual and group follow-up sessions. These sessions are meant to address individual needs and tackle difficulties in more effective ways. A "return service" by the scholars is expected; the CRC provides the service sites and the processing of their return service experiences.
Enrichment Programs
In response to the various needs of students towards personal growth and development, CRC organizes and conducts seminars and workshops, symposia, educational sessions and modular programs.
Peer Counseling facilitators Training Program
To reach and serve more students in the University, the CRC selects and trains students with greater potential of establishing peer helping relationships. The candidates are trained to acquire greater sensitivity to peers' concerns and learn helping and testing skills to enable them to conduct individual peer counseling, facilitate group peer counseling, and administer and score tests. This program also helps to inculcate in the peer counselors a sense of service.
Outreach Programs
To expose the students to the realities of life, to develop in them a sense of value and concern for the dignity of the human person, the CRC initiated linkage with Government and Non-government organizations service programs, such as orphanages and shelters for the street kids.
Faculty/Parent Consultation
The services of P/ACTS-CRC staff are open to parents, faculty members and personnel regarding school and family matters.
Research
Studies and surveys on relevant issues are periodically conducted to address particular needs of the P/ACTS-CRC and other Units' needs of the University.
