Formation and Advocacy
- Participants to the Summer Internship Program (SIP) are incoming 2nd and 3rd year students of the College of Law
- Resident interns are those enrolled and have residency with Xavier University College of Law
- Volunteer lawyers are alumni of XU College of law of have undergone training with XUCLA’s SIP.
- First year students who are enrolled to Human Rights will be exposed to actual human rights issues.
Legal Aid and Case Management
- Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) is the venue for fourth year law students for practical case handling and litigation.
- Fourth year law students are conducting legal consultations to various communities through outreach.
Legal and Policy Research
- Fourth year law students with the CLEP are conducting policy inventory, policy analysis, formulating policy outlines, as well as policy recommendations.
- First year law students who are enrolled to Legal Research can take part in the University’s policy development and policy agenda.
