Fr Eric G Velandria, SJ has been called home to the Lord on 6 September 2025, after 41 years as a Jesuit and 30 years as a priest.

His interment will take place at Campo Verano in Rome, Italy, immediately following the Funeral Mass at the Church of Santo Spirito in Florence, Italy, on Wednesday, 10 September.
