Xavier University–Ateneo de Cagayan was honored by the Cagayan de Oro City Council through Resolution No. 15494-2025, following the University’s 10th-place ranking among the Philippines’ top-performing schools with at least 100 examinees and a passing rate of 80% or higher in the October 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination. XU achieved a high passing rate of 88.99%, producing 97 new doctors.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our new Xavier Atenean doctors, as well as the unwavering commitment of the Xavier University Jose P Rizal School of Medicine faculty and staff, and all XU administrators, faculty, and staff. The University celebrates this milestone with a renewed commitment to form physicians for the community, shaped by Ignatian values and deeply committed to service.
