The Science Center is known on the campus for the physical and natural science departments and laboratories, and its tiered seating lecture halls. Did you know? The five-storey building is the largest within the campus, with a total floor space of 5,276 square meters. The construction was funded by MISEREOR (German Bishops) and was inaugurated on 12 March 1967.

The Philippine-American Educational Foundation, also known as the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, is the bi-national commission which administers the Fulbright Program, an academic exchange program which awards scholarship grants for Filipinos to the United States. The Fulbright Program aims to strengthen the relationship and increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the Philippines by awarding graduate study, lecturing, research grants, and research fellowships.      

We are pleased to inform you that the Fulbright Advanced Research and University Lecturing Program for the Academic Year 2026-2027 is now open for applications.  

The Fulbright Advanced Research and University Lecturing Program, also called the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program, is a scholarship for academics and professionals to implement their research projects at institutions for higher education, non-profit research institutes, and government institutions in the United States. The scholarship includes international roundtrip airfare, monthly stipend, settling-in allowance, professional development allowance, and health and accident insurance.      

Applications for the 2026-2027 Fulbright Advanced Research and University Lecturing Program are strictly online and will be open until 1 November 2025. All interested applicants must complete the online application at https://apply.iie.org/fvsp2026 or visit www.fulbright.org.ph to apply and learn more about the grant. To learn more about the program, we will be holding virtual and in-person information sessions on the dates found below.
