PANAGHUGPONG 16 - Xavier Arts Festival opens on 7 February 2024 at 3:00 pm at the XU Little Theater. There will be performances by the Performing Arts Companies, Moses Elijah Jamero, and Lamberto Vasquez (Alumnus, XUJHS '75).
The "Pakighimamat ni Kristo" art exhibit will be reopened with a boodle art session for those who would like to try visual arts.
Join us as we celebrate the National Arts Month Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain.

PANAGHUGPONG 16 Xavier Arts Festival (Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain) 3 February 2024 – 9 March 2024 Xavier University | Xavier Ateneo through its Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts celebrates the National Arts Month (NAM) through PANAGHUGPONG 16 – Xavier Arts Festival.
Former President Corazon Aquino promulgated through the Presidential Proclamation No 683, which declared February as the National Arts Month – celebrating the Filipino arts and culture.
On its 16th year, PANAGHUGPONG features the productions of the Performing Arts Companies, Boodle Art Session with Museo de Oro and Circulo de Arte, Pop Concert of Sound Table, CINEDUKASYON by the Xavier Ateneo Film Society, and the various competitions, such as on-the-spot essay writing, oratorical speech, on-the-spot poster making, short and sweet play, folk dance, and kulturock.
The celebration will foster appreciation of Xavier Ateneo’s talent, creativity, and ingenuity – making us mark Xavier Ateneo’s thrusts on culture and the arts as a Filipino University.
With this, you are all invited to watch the productions and performances. We also invite you to the opening program on February 7 (Wednesday) at 3 pm at the Museo de Oro grounds.
