ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE FOR ALL YEAR LEVELS, RETURNEES AND REFRESHERS 
FOR THE 1st SEMESTER OF AY 2024-2025

NOTE: Students who are eligible for re-enrollment and who do not enroll this semester, for any reason, should apply for a leave of absence within the month of July 2024. The failure to timely apply for a leave of absence will result to the forfeiture of your eligibility to re-enroll. Xavier Ateneo Law classes and examinations will be conducted ONLY in-person.

Classes may begin early afternoon for full-time students. But generally, classes start at 5.30 PM and end by 9.30 PM at the latest for weekdays; and 9am to 5pm at the latest for Saturdays. Attendance in classes will be checked, and, pursuant to LEB rules, students who incur absences of more than 20% of the total class hours will receive a failing mark due to absences.   

Moreover, midterm and final examinations will be given in-person at Xavier Ateneo Law premises, but using ExamSoft — the same platform used by the Supreme Court in the conduct of the Philippine Bar Examinations.  Thus, all Xavier Ateneo Law students will be required to bring a suitable laptop for ExamSoft during examinations.  The laptop need not be brand new, may be Windows-based or using Mac-OS, but must comply with the minimum system requirements for the software to run. You may check this link to know more about the minimum systems requirement. 

I. Self-Evaluation and Payment of (A) Tuition Fee and (B) Xavier University – Association of Law Students (XU-ALS) Fee

• Please take note that you can only proceed to paying the down payment for (A) Tuition Fee and (B) XU-ALS Fee if you receive a “Readmission E-mail,” or if based on your honest and responsible assessment, you are on good academic standing. Please fill out the SELF-EVALUATION FORM found on this link https://forms.gle/JtorqyLzypz4Wi7a9

(A) Tuition down payment of PHP 3,000; and
(B)  Xavier University – University – Association of Law Students (XU-ALS) fee of PHP 2,315 for ALL YEAR LEVELS. Refreshers are not required to pay the ALS Fee.

* The Law admin is not responsible for any inconvenience brought by a refund request in case you paid the fees in bad faith.

The payment procedures are as follows:

A. Tuition Fee Down Payment. 

1. Deposit the down payment of Php 3,000.00 over-the-counter or through the Payment Centers listed in the Xavier University web site https://www.xu.edu.ph/payment-centers-finance

Note: do not use any other XU account as it may not be credited to tuition balances

B. Xavier University – Association of Law Students (XU-ALS) Fee. Payment of PHP 2,315.00 for ALL YEAR LEVELSRefreshers are not required to pay the ALS Fee. Follow these steps:

i. Choose a payment channel to pay your ALS Fee. You can pay via:

1. GCash
2. BPI Bank Transfer

iv. Pay the exact amount (PHP 2,315.00) through any of the payment channels and take a screenshot or photo of the payment confirmation showing either the confirmation number or the reference number.

v. Once done, click this link https://forms.gle/PaWhJ6x3riHgAPH98 and answer the form correctly. Please make sure to attach the screenshot or photo of the payment confirmation (image file or pdf) when answering the form.

II. Registration and Submission of Proof of Payments

Register through the links below and submit proof of payments. This uses Google Forms and you will need your XU email to access.

Please note that it may take two to three days for payments to be verified and confirmed.

III. SLMIS Term Activation 

After your payments are verified and confirmed, your SLMIS account will be activated for the term. Should you have questions relating to your SLMIS account, please email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

IV. Assignment of Block

Once your SLMIS account is activated, the Law department will assign you to a block. Please wait for our email containing your block assignment. Attempts to enroll in another section or block will be considered a violation of Xavier Ateneo Law policies.

V. Online Self Enrollment of Subjects

Please self-enroll your subjects according to the block assigned to you.

The minimum allowable number of units is twelve (12). Refer to the curriculum below:

Double check your entries of enrolled subjects, and then finish the self-enrollment.

Students are reminded of their signed commitment to: (1) only enroll the prescribed and approved courses and section during the self-service enrollment; and (2) get approval for any other course. Any deviation will result to the Law Department removing or dropping courses that are not in the approved study load form. 

VI. Check & verify your SLMIS account to see if you are officially enrolled.

Your enrollment is complete once you receive the verification in your SLMIS.

Proper registration means you have successfully: a) filled out the online registration form and; b) paid both tuition and ALS fees.

11 July – Returnees/Refreshers

For Refreshers - Please be ready with these requirements: (1) Transcript of Records and (2) transfer credentials / honorable dismissal (if last school attended is not XU).

12-13 July – Delayed registration and enrollment for all year levels/returnees and refreshers

Adding & Dropping of Subjects

Adding of subject/s is allowed only during the DELAYED ENROLLMENT period. No adding will be allowed after that.

Dropping and withdrawal of subject/s may be done within the allowable period. For record purposes and to facilitate tracking, registrar’s office requires students to follow the instructions for Adding/ Dropping of subjects. The procedure is found in this link: https://www.xu.edu.ph/online-prtreNecessary charges will be applied.
