The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan, through its Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA), will hold "ArteKultura 11 - The Filipino Heritage and Contemporary Arts" on September 8 from 8AM to 4:30PM at the XU Little Theater. 

This year’s ArteKultura is focused on the value of Filipino heritage and the need for cultural mapping and the discussion of the Filipino identity in our contemporary arts.

Professors Arvin Villalon of the Cultural Mapping Program of the NCCA and Eileen Ramirez of the University of the Philippines - Diliman will serve as the resource speakers for this event.  

The Xavier Ateneo community and the public are invited to participate in this year’s ArteKultura. Admission to the lecture series is free.  

ArteKultura forms part of the Cultural Education Program of XCCA.∎
