Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan's March 2014 graduate Sahara Iman Marohombsar Alonto ranked ninth in the Psychometrician Licensure Exam.

Alonto reaped 80.60% in the said exam and shared the top-9 spot with eight other takers.

“I am very pleased to inform the community that for the October 2018 Psychometrician Licensure Examination, a Xavier Ateneo graduate garnered the 9th highest place, Sahara Iman Marohombsar Alonto” greeted Xavier Ateneo president Fr Roberto C Yap SJ in his message to the academic community.

Along with Alonto, 58 other XU graduates passed the PLE, giving the university a passing rate of 47.2% (59 out of 125 takers).

XU also had a successful examinee in the Psychologist Licensure Exam, Mao Joseph C Licudine.

“We thank Arts & Sciences dean Dr Juliet Q Dalagan, Psychology Department chairperson Jhoanna Marie M Mocorro, the Psychology Department faculty and staff for the guidance and support they have given to our students,” Yap added. “Congratulations to all our new Xavier Ateneo Psychometricians and Registered Psychologist!”

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, November 9, that only 4,035 out of 8,453 passed the October 2018 PLE administered by the Board of Psychology in Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.∎
