CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Thirty-two out of 40 Real Estate Management graduates of Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan successfully passed the June 2019 Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination. 

After securing a passing rate of 80%, Xavier Ateneo ranked third top-performing school in the said board exam. 

Four Xavier Ateneans also landed in the top 10: John Alex M Oliver (#2 with 87.75%), Ro-An Honey P Yu (#5 with 85.75%), Gabriel Kent P Reyes (#7 with 85.00%), and Faith T Penaso (#10 with 84.25%).

In his memo to the academic community, university president Fr Roberto “Bobby” C  Yap SJ wrote: “Congratulations to our new Xavier Ateneo Real Estate Brokers! Let us thank SBM Dean Ruth Love V Russell, Real Estate Management coordinator Edgardo A Palasan, the faculty and staff of the School of Business and Management for the guidance and support they have given to our students.”

"Carry the Xavier Ateneo banner as you enter the exciting world of real estate," said Dr Russell. "When you reach the skies, keep both feet planted on the ground and may everything be always for the greater glory of God. Congratulations! We are filled with joy and pride."
 
The Professional Regulation Commission reported on Wednesday, June 19 that only 204 out of 297 (national passing rate of 68.69%) passed the REB Licensure Examination, administered by the Board of Real Estate Service in the cities of Manila, Cagayan De Oro, Davao, and Tacloban.∎
