
This year marks the 30th anniversary of BPI-DOST Science Awards as the longest program of BPI Foundation Inc. For 2019, BPI awarded 30 exemplary young scientists from 11 partner schools, namely, Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, St Louis University, University of San Carlos, University of Santo Tomas, UP Diliman, UP Los Baños, UP Manila, and Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan.
The BPI-DOST Science Awards program is a partnership between BPI Foundation Inc and DOST Science Education Institute to recognize young Filipino undergraduate students who venture into innovative research.
Awardees also exemplify strong academic background, leadership skills, and community involvement.

As part of the said program, the students also attended the summit workshop on August 1 at the BPI Buendia Center. The oral presentations and awarding ceremony were held the next day at the Alphaland City Club in Makati City, Metro Manila.∎
