Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan Junior High School congratulates Lea Lilibeth Emata, assistant principal for academics, for winning the EduTech Leadership in Asia K-12 Awards (Bronze Awardee) during the EduTech Asia Awards last November 5, 2019, at Suntec, Singapore.
"Making is not simply teaching kids to play, but in having them learn on their own, through experience, reflecting on it, and taking meaningful action," Emata said during the awarding ceremony.
The Best Makers & Robotics Programme Award was also given to XU Junior High School for its annual School Maker Faire.
The whole Xavier Ateneo community is also invited to participate in this year's School Maker Faire at the Xavier Ateneo Sports Centre on November 28 as part of the XU Festival Days 2019.∎
