Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan through its President Fr Mars P Tan, SJ today signed the Memorandum of Agreement with Parasat Cable TV Inc , represented by its founder-owner Engr Elpidio M Paras to seal the partnership that will feature educational videos produced by the different departments and broadcasted through Channel 4 of Parasat Cable TV.

This collaboration was anchored on the common goal of the University and Parasat to provide more avenues for learning and service to the community particularly the education sector, through relevant educational videos. The timing is perfect especially with the “home-based” learning set up of most if not all schools. The videos are expected to provide supplemental learning avenue to the students and even to the general public.  

Fr Mars and Sir Elpie both recognize the true worth of this project as a significant contribution in the development of knowledge among students and other stakeholders through cable media.
