Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) and Dulaang Atenista (DA) present ANG SISTEMA NI PROPESOR TUKO, a play written by Al Santos. This production is slated on November 18-30, 2009 at the Xavier University Little Theater with matinee shows at 3:00 p.m. and gala shows at 7:30 p.m. Ang Sistema ni Propesor Tuko is a comedy revealing colonial mentality as seen in the classroom system and absurd methods of a professor. This production is part of XCCA’s cultural programs on Artistic Excellence through Dulaang Atenista’s 21st season, SATYR.

Proceeds of the show will go to the “Vermi Compost Project” of the Research and Social Outreach Cluster of Xavier University. This beneficiary program covers some communities in Lumbia.

Tickets are sold at Php 100 (Premiere Night), Php 50.00 (Gala Shows) and Php 30.00 (Matinee Shows).  This will be a very good enrichment activity for your students who are taking up Humanities, Literature, Communication Arts, and Formation Programs.
