The College of Agriculture will be holding the Manresa Days celebration this coming November 23 to 28. Themed succinctly, “Go Aggies!” the Manresa Days aims to show the potential of agriculture in addressing global challenges of hunger and climate change without leaving behind the flipside of agriculture – FUN.

Weeklong agro-eco tours, recreational activities, academic exhibits and bazaars will dot the celebration in addition to the much-anticipated invitational rodeo competition. Agriculture students across Northern Mindanao will also come together for the Agriculture Students’ Skills Competition.

Several forums have been catalogued for various agriculture stakeholders, expressly the Aggie-High School Friendship day for high school students in Cagayan de Oro, and the 3rd Agriculture Students’ Congress and Multi-stakeholder Mindanao Agriculture Forum where representatives from the academe, government and private sector are expected to attend. The forums will take on fresh ways of pursuing excellence in agriculture education and of addressing pressing concerns in the sector.
