Xavier University Grade School welcomed its pupils for the official first day of onsite classes last November 7, 2022. This is in pursuance with the Department of Education (DepEd) Order 34, s. 2022 issued by the Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte requiring both public and private schools to hold face-to-face classes five times a week beginning 2nd of November 2022.
XUGS pupils are lining-up and getting ready for the Morning Assembly.
Last Monday’s schedule started with a Morning Assembly at the de Brebeuf Courts where Fr. Frank Savadera, SJ, the school principal, gave warm words of welcome and encouragement for the pupils and their teachers. The pupils were also oriented with the basic school policies and important reminders. On the same assembly, the winners of the different contests held during the recent XUGS Fiesta in Honor of the Holy Guardian Angels were announced and duly awarded with certificates of achievement.
Fr. Frank Dennis B. Savadera, SJ, the school principal, delivers his message to the students, faculty and staff.
The classes this week will focus on (re)orienting the pupils of the school’s guidelines and proper etiquettes to observe as they do transition from online to onsite learning.
