Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan is among the 2010 Social Security System Balikat ng Bayan Awardees for Top Employer in the Northern Mindanao cluster.
The awarding ceremony will be held on September 1 at the SSS Building in Quezon City, during the 53rd Anniversary Program of the institution.
The Balikat ng Bayan Award for Top Employer is awarded to 13 companies across the country best complied with the Social Security Law and participated in SSS programs. These include the SSS coverage of employees, collection and giving out of benefits, and accurate and timely submission of reports to the social system.
Other big companies in Mindanao awarded the Balikat ng Bayan Top Employer in the past were the Del Monte Philippines Inc. and Dole Philippines Inc.
