In celebration of the 26th year of the American Corner (AC), formerly called the American Studies Resource Center, the Xavier University Libraries-AC organized a coffee talk on November 19, 2010 highlighting the international exposure of the American Corner for the year.

The event focused on the sharing of experiences in the American libraries in Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York City visited by the AC Director through the International Voluntary Visitor Program-PAS-US Embassy Manila and the US State Department. The presentation, which was done through video showing, also covered the participation of the AC in the International Conference on Library Spaces featuring libraries in Ohio, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, and the University of the Philippines and the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

Aside from the presentations, new books on American Poetry and multi-media materials were showcased during the affair.
