Studes turn ‘birthday outreach’ into weekly street classes

Xavier students who turned a birthday outreach celebration into a weekly outreach program for street children star in today's (Sept 22) issue of a local newspaper. School of Education student Philip Flores and his classmates started street  tutorials back in 2009 and have since inspired graduates and students from other schools in the city to join their cause in spreading literacy to homeless kids.
