As part of its effort to promote and enhance research in higher education, the Commission on Higher Education is calling for nominations to the 2011 Search for Outstanding Thesis in Natural Sciences and Engineering. This search recognizes and rewards research outputs that make significant headway in the fields of Biology and its allied fields, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, and Engineering.

To qualify, the thesis should have been a requirement for a Master of Science degree completed between May 2009 to May 2011, and the researcher should be a Filipino citizen. Winning entries from previous PCASTRD/PCIERD/PAGE Search are disqualified from joining this competition.

Nominations (at least three per category per HEI) should be submitted on or before March 30, 2011 to the CHED Zonal Research Center of MSU-IIT.
